Don Laco toca este son en un tono poco usual: Fa mayor. Esto lo hace porque la melodía en el violín es difícil, al igual que el falsete que se requiere. En la pieza se escucha la manera en que Víctor Moedano se acopla con plenitud al tono y al falsete.
