Son acompasado y de baile cadencioso, motivo por el cual don Laco suele tocarlo. En esta grabación se escuchan dos versos de su autoría, con los que expresa los sentimientos más profundos que tiene hacia sus orígenes: su infancia, su Colotlán querido y la Huasteca.
