Este son corresponde al innumerable repertorio de huapangos que suelen tocar los músicos mientras esperan a que los danzantes salgan ya transformados en danzantes-ancestros, es decir, en Cuanegros. El trío Tierra Artesana, entonces, no denomina de alguna manera a este son y sólo la primera armonía del violín es suficiente para que el jaranero y el huapanguero identifiquen las tonalidades con las que han de acompañar al violinista. Cabe aclarar que los sones interpretados para esperar, suelen amenizar tanto a los hombres que se están transformando en danzantes-ancestros en la casa de los Cuanegros, como a quienes afuera de la casa están esperando a que los Cuanegros estén listos y salgan.
