En la parte exterior presenta una x en alto relieve y en la parte posterior tiene una espiga que le permitía empotrarse en la mampostería. Este elemento era utilizado en la arquitectura Puuc Floreciente (700-830 d.C.) formando parte en los paneles decorativos.
