Las figurillas de barro fueron una constante en los antiguos pueblos, pues además de representar a los dioses, a veces eran quebradas para dispersar los fragmentos en los campos de cultivo._x005F_x000D_Muchas veces los recipientes tienen forma o aplicaciones que se toman de seres divinos o de animales considerados sagrados, como la tortuga._x005F_x000D_Corresponden al Horizonte Preclásico, entre 200 a.C. a 200 d.C.
