Vasija efigie de venado
Además de proveer proteínas a la alimentación, el venado jugó un papel importante en la construcción de mitos que explicaban el movimiento de los astros. Esta vasija efigie, que de forma realista representa a este animal, muestra un pectoral que resalta su simbolismo religioso. La cerámica plomiza, llamada así por su brillo metálico, fue producida en la región costera de Chiapas y Guatemala, de donde fue importada.
