Personaje con yelmo de animal (vista lateral)
Esta pieza es la cabeza de un hombre que usa un yelmo de coyote emplumado y adornos en las orejas. Posiblemente se trate de un guerrero de alto rango que fue enterrado de manera simbólica. Para elaborarla aplicaron fragmentos de mosaico sobre una pieza de barro plumbate. Este señor barbado, vestido con su yelmo de concha, posiblemente sea una representación de Ehécatl-Quetzalcóatl, dios del viento entre los aztecas, quien splaba los campos para recibir la lluvia. La pieza fue depositada como ofrenda en un altar frente a un templo de planta circular, como eran los templos construídos para esta deidad. (Elizabeth Jiménez García) OFRENDA, ADORATORIO EL CORRAL
