Tlazoltéotl (Vista lateral)
Esta pieza muestra a una mujer sentada. Las serpientes que lleva como cinturón aluden a su carácter divino y la pintura sobre su rostro es un rasgo distintivo de la diosa Tlazoltéotl, asociada con la tierra, la sexualidad y el parto. Estas magníficas esculturas cerámicas eran colocadas en enormas ofrendas enterradas.
