Piezas matadas

Uno de los tipos cerámicos más antiguos que se han encontrado en Cantona, fechado alrededor del 600 a.C., es la llamado cerámica “Sotolaco”, que se caracteriza por el recubrimiento color crema y los sencillos diseños geométricos en color rojo. En ocasiones la cerámica que había sido utilizada por alguna persona, era encontrada en su ofrenda funeraria con la finalidad de acompañarlo en su sueño eterno, los sobrevivientes “mataban” las piezas perforándolas.
