A este portaestandarte zoomorfo de Chichén Itzá se suman las formas curvas que dan movimiento, fuerza y corpulencia al jaguar. Éste se representa con las fauces abiertas, las manchas características de su piel se aprecian en el relieve con diseños a manera de rosetas que hacen alusión al cielo estrellado.
