Dintel y atlantes
La inscripción del dintel comienza con la fecha 10.2.9.1.9 9 Muluk 7 Sak (26 de julio de 878 d.C.) y registra la presentación del dintel de la casa del señor Mandíbula de Hueso, gobernante principal de Chichén Itzá y padre de otros dos famosos jerarcas locales: K’inil Kopol y K’ahk’upakal.El dintel pareciera estar sostenido por dos esculturas tipo atlantes o cariátides: la escultura de la izquierda, esta integrada por dos segmentos cuadrangulares que corresponden a las porciones inferior y superior del cuerpo. La de la derecha está ricamente ataviado con un tocado anudado sobre la frente, orejeras, pectoral grande, taparrabo y ajorcas.
