El texto de este altar, dedicado al Gobernante 5 de Toniná, registra la fecha 5 Eb 10 Yaxk’in (16 de junio de 730), para enaltecer el evento acaecido. El número y el nombre 5 Eb se repiten en el centro, ese día, se cumplían 42 años de la entronización del Gobernante 3, K’inich B’aaknal Chaahk, ocurrida en un 5 Eb pero del año 688, su tumba fue objeto de un rito que involucró el uso de fuego.
