Esta pieza fue elaborada para ser parte de una ofrenda funeraria en el Edificio 1 del Conjunto Ya’axná, el más antiguo de Kohunlich. Muestra la inscripción Yax-Jul(?)-Chan-na, "Cielo azul perforado", que puede ser un topónimo de Kohunlich o algún lugar relacionado con el personaje enterrado.
