Incensario Chen Mul
El dios E o descendente se identifica como dios del Maíz, es extremadamente común en la iconografía de la época postlásica de la península de Yucatán, aparece en códices, cerámica, esculturas y pintura mural, como la encontrada en sitios arqueológicos de Tulum o Tankah. También está asociado con la muerte y el sacrificio, tal vez como parte del ciclo del maíz en la agricultura.
