TIENE EL VIENTRE ABULTADO, LAS PATAS DELGADAS, Y LAS ALAS PLEGADAS EN FORMA DE SEMICÍRCULOS CONCÉNTRICOS, CUELLO LARGO CURVO CON LA CABEZA INCLINADA AL FRENTE. CRESTA EMPLUMADA Y PICO LARGO APOYADO EN EL VIENTRE. LA BASE DE LA PALMA ES CÓNCAVA.
