Manuel Cuesta Gallardo
Manuel Cuesta Gallardo, originario de Guadalajara, fue uno de los hacendados más prósperos de Jalisco. Ingeniero de profesión, fue Gobernador Constitucional de Jalisco, del 1o. de marzo al 24 de mayo de 1911, en los últimos días del régimen de Porfirio Díaz. Su renuncia se debió a la dispersión con violencia de la población, que se manifestó cuando se dio a conocer el triunfo de los maderistas.
