José en la cisterna
En esta pinturase expresa el momento en que los madianitas mercaderes sacaron a José de la cisterna, le trajeron arriba y le vendieron a los ismaelitas por veinte piezas de plata [Génesis 37:28]. Esta obra, proveniente del taller de Villalpando, muestra elementos característicos del artista, sin embargo, la caligrafía de su firma no corresponde a la observada en la mayoría de sus cuadros.
