San Francisco recibe al niño Jesús en manos de la Virgen María
Para el siglo XVI los relatos sobre la vida y milagros de san Francisco se habían incrementado. Se dice que el santo recibió de manos de la Virgen María al Niño Jesús, pasaje que el pintor dividió en dos secciones que aquí se muestran en el lienzo, del lado izquierdo se observa a los frailes que atestiguan el momento y en el derecho a san Francisco. Este cuadro, como los demás de la serie, fueron hechos ex profeso para el inmueble.
