Cena de Emaús

Después de que Cristo resucitó, San Lucas narró en su Evangelio que "en el camino de Emaús, donde sus discípulos comentaban los últimos acontecimientos y mientras esto sucedía, sin darse cuenta, Jesús caminaba junto a ellos, pero no lo identificaron, así continuaron el camino platicando hasta llegar al lugar de su destino. Los discípulos lo invitaron a comer y al momento de partir y bendecir el pan, sus ojos se abrieron y reconocieron a Jesús, quien desapareció de su vista" (San Lucas XXIV, 13-32).En esta obra se aprecia a Jesús vestido de peregrino y con las huellas de los clavos en sus manos.Esta pintura se encuentra en el retablo mayor de la Capilla Doméstica.
