Mariano José de Zúñiga y Ontiveros
Natural de México, nació el 25 de septiembre de 1745. Sus padres fueron María Vicenta Fernández Ramos y Felipe Zúñiga de Ontiveros. Fue filomatemático, agrimensor de tierras y minas y miembro de la Real Junta de Caridad de México. Su obra más importante es Calendario y pronóstico de esta Nueva España.
