Jesús cae por segunda vez
En esta obra podemos observar la séptima estación del Vía Crucis, en la cual Jesús sufre la segunda caída en el camino al Calvario, mientras Simón Cirineo le ayuda, sosteniendo la cruz mientras El se incorpora. Este pasaje se llevó a efecto en la puerta de la ciudad llamada Judiciaria, sitio donde los jueces promulgaban las sentencias. (1)La serie de este Vía Crucis consta de catorce pinturas, las cuales estuvieron ubicadas en la iglesia de San Francisco Javier hasta el año de 1930.(1) Elisa Vargaslugo, et al., Juan Correa, su vida y su obra, catálogo, t.
