Adoración de los reyes
Tanto la representación del Niño como la del anciano rey que besa su planta mantienen estrecha relación con la obra antes citada. Es claro que el modelo, de origen europeo, fue muy difundido en la Nueva España. Esta pintura tiene la particularidad de incluir un perro junto a la virgen, el cual se relaciona con el símbolo de la fidelidad. (1) El lienzo está recortado, pero evidencia un magnífico oficio en su ejecución, no sólo de conjunto, sino en cada uno de sus detalles.
