¿A dónde irán los danzantes muertos? La vida no termina aquí, porque las ánimas siguen andando los Cuatro Vientos. Pueden volverse acompañantes del sol, hombres por la mañana, mujeres por la noche. Pueden volverse trabajadores de las nubes y por tanto servidores de Tláloc. Pueden regresar como las flores y las mariposas, como las aves de plumajes de fuego. Pueden los niños regresar al árbol que amamanta. Pueden hacerse presentes en los ritos, en las ceremonias de canto y copal, en la energía pura de los que siguen danzando. Pueden seguir cantando y haciendo música para el sol, la luna y las estrellas del Dador de la Vida.
