Esta marcha es muy popular en La Laguna. Fue compuesta hacia 1901 a raíz de la inauguración del tren eléctrico que comunicaba ambas ciudades; en esa época, antes de la construcción de carreteras, todas las rutas llegaban a Lerdo, pues era el centro urbano más importante de la región.
