Luis Castellanos y Tapia
Luis Castellanos y Tapia (1868-1927), originario de Ocotlán, estudió en el Liceo de Varones, tiempo después, se fue a continuar sus estudios a la Ciudad de México. Acaudalado hacendado, se dedicó a la ganadería y la agricultura. En 1907, fue obligado a vender su hacienda, por presiones políticas, a Manuel Cuesta Gallardo; decidió entonces emigrar a Europa, donde estuvo varios años. A su regreso, en plena efervescencia revolucionaria, fue nombrado Presidente Municipal de Guadalajara. Apoyado por el grupo político de Manuel M. Diéguez, fue Gobernador Constitucional de Jalisco, del 1o. de marzo de 1919 al 11 de mayo de 1920.
