La oración del huerto
San Marcos en su Evangelio, relata que después de la última cena "Llegaron a un lugar cuyo nombre era Getsemaní, y dijo a sus discípulos: Sentaos aquí mientras voy a orar. Tomando consigo a Pedro a Santiago y a Juan, comenzó a sentir temor y angustia, y les decía: Triste está mi alma hasta la muerte; permaneced aquí y velad. Adelantóse un poco, cayó en la tierra y oraba que, si era posible, pasase de él aquella hora. Decía: Abba Padre, todo te es posible; aleja de mi este cáliz mas no sea lo que yo quiero, sino lo que quieres tú... "(San Marcos XIV, 31-42). Esta obra fue ejecutada por el padre Carrasco, último rector del colegio Jesuita de Tepotzotlán y deja ver, como en todas sus obras, su formación academicista previa a su ingreso a la Compañía de Jesús.
