La Crucifixión
La undécima estación del Vía Crucis corresponde a la crucifixión de Nuestro Señor en el Monte Calvario. San Pedro en su evangelio nos dice lo siguiente: "Después llevaron dos ladrones y crucificaron al Señor en medio de ellos. Mas él callaba como si no sintiera ningún dolor." (1) San Marcos (XV, 22-23) apunta: "Lo llevaron al lugar del Gólgota que quiere decir lugar de la Calavera... era la hora de tercia cuando lo crucificaron..." La serie de este Vía Crucis consta de catorce pinturas, las cuales estuvieron ubicadas en la iglesia de San Francisco Javier hasta el año de 1930.
