EL EXMO. S. T. GRAL. DON JUAN O'DONOJU. SEVILLANO, ULTIMO VIRREY DE LA NVA. ESPAÑA; PRESTO EL JURAMENTO EN VER. EL 3 DE AGO. DE 1821, FIRMO LOS TRATADOS DE CORDOBA Y EL 24 DEL MISMO MURIO EL 8 DE OCT. DEL PROPIO AÑO. Retrato del teniente coronel don Juan O'Donojú. De medio cuerpo de perfil hacia la derecha. Porta indumentaria milita en color azul, el frente, cuello y puño en color rojo con galón dorado y porta tres condecoraciones a su lado izquierdo. Se observa una banda en color azul y blanco. Sostiene un bastón en su mano derecha. En segundo plano se observa un cortinaje con galón dorado y parte de una ventana. En la parte inferior de la pintura se encuentra una cartela con la inscripción en color negro sobre fondo blanco.
